Neck of the Woods Performance

Our dancers will be performing several excerpts from our “Nutcracker”, which will be performed at the Heritage High School Auditorium on Dec. 2 & 3, along with original, holiday-inspired works by our Jazz, Tap, Hip-Hop, and Contemporary companies. It is an ideal, family-friendly kick-off to your holiday festivities. We would love to have you join us. If you are interested, you may pick up more information about the performance in the lobby after the show.

We will start off with the Spanish Dance from the Nutcracker. The choreography is by Ruth Leney-Midkiff, WFCB’s Artistic Director.

Next we will perform for you the Dance of the Mirlitons, with choreography by Terry Lehman-Munro. It represents the pastoral French Countryside.

Our final excerpt from the Nutcracker, is the Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy. Danced by Chloe Neunsinger, the choreography is based upon the original from Marius Petipa.

Finally, dancers from our Senior Tap Company will perform for you “I Love Paris” by Nationally known tap Master Teacher and DDI faculty member, Mark Goodman. We hope you have enjoyed the dancers this evening and hope to see you at Heritage High School for our Winter Gala Performance on DEC 2 & 3.
